Undertakes the duties of the skilled Maintenance Technician in the chemical industry whilst learning the required practical skills and the underpinning knowledge as an apprentice.

Responsible machinery and equipment maintenance relating to the manufacture of products. They identify and correct faults in equipment, and may work in planned, unplanned or preventative maintenance.

Responsible for the safe, efficient, sustainable and profitable operation of all plant and equipment on the site. He or she provides visible leadership and management in pursuit of these objectives.
